Cursory Security Review and Pen-test

(one-day minimum)

When you simply do not have the time or resources to perform a complete security review, Casaba can adjust our process to provide you with a quick, cursory review of your application. We recommend a minimum of one day be allocated to a cursory review.

Of course, by definition a cursory review provides limited testing coverage compared to a comprehensive review. However, even without a complete picture of your product’s security stance, you can benefit by eliminating some low-hanging fruit, and it is certainly possible to find at least one show-stopper issue. Cursory reviews can be performed in the following ways:

  • Black-box or white-box review of Web and other applications
  • Database review
  • Infrastructure review
  • Design review of protocol, hardware, or software
