Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 9, 2026

This notice explains how www.casaba.com, owned by Casaba Security LLC, handles visitor information. It covers this website only.

The short version

This is a static website. It does not set cookies, run ads, or build profiles of visitors. We collect nothing that identifies you personally unless you choose to email us, and we never sell or rent any information.

Analytics

We measure overall traffic with Plausible Analytics, a cookieless service that uses no persistent identifiers and does not track visitors across sites or devices. It briefly hashes your IP address and browser user-agent to count daily visits, using a salt that is rotated and deleted every 24 hours; raw IP addresses and user-agents are never stored. All data is aggregate and hosted in the EU. See Plausible's data policy for details.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. As with any web host, GitHub logs visitor IP addresses for security purposes. This is covered by GitHub's privacy statement.

When you email us

If you email us (for example, at info@casaba.com), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share, and use it only to respond. We keep that correspondence only as long as needed or as required by law.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, or share it outside our organization except with the analytics and hosting providers above, where you have consented, or where required by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, including under the GDPR for visitors in the EEA and UK. Since our analytics holds nothing that identifies you, any personal data we hold is email you have sent us. To make a request, contact info@casaba.com.

Changes

We may update this notice; material changes will be reflected in the effective date above.
